construction company in lucknow

I’ll be straight with you.

When Baldev Singh started Wilman Infra Projects {Best Construction Company in Lucknow} back in 2017, he didn’t have a fancy office. He had a small team, a secondhand pickup truck, and one project in Lucknow. The client was a retired government officer who wanted a simple G+1 house for his family. Nothing fancy. Just solid construction that would last.

That project took 24 months. There were delays. There was a monsoon that set back the roofing work by three weeks. The client called almost every day. And you know what? We welcomed it. Because when someone is putting their life savings into a house, they deserve to know exactly what’s happening on their own plot.

That job is still standing today, by the way. No cracks. No seepage. No complaints.

That’s kind of the whole story of Wilman Infra Projects in one paragraph. We’re a construction company in Lucknow that builds things properly. Not quickly. Not cheaply. Properly.

What’s Actually Happening in Lucknow’s Construction Market Right Now

Lucknow has gone through a serious transformation in the last ten years. Shaheed Path, the metro, Gomti Nagar Extension, the expressway  the city’s physical shape has changed completely. And with that has come a massive surge in construction.

Which is great, mostly. But here’s what nobody talks about openly  that same boom has pulled in a lot of people who have no business being in construction. Every third person with a JCB and a few contacts is calling himself a builder now.

We’ve had clients come to us mid-project. Meaning someone else started their house, collected 12 lakh as advance, and either disappeared or delivered work so bad it had to be torn down and redone. We’ve seen columns that were so poorly reinforced, our structural engineer actually took photos because he couldn’t believe what he was seeing.

That’s not me trying to scare you. That’s just what’s out there. Lucknow’s construction market has some genuinely skilled people and some genuinely dangerous ones. Knowing which is which takes either experience or very bad luck.

Who We Are — The Actual Version, Not the Brochure Version

Wilman Infra Projects is a construction company in Lucknow. We build homes, commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and we handle renovations. Full details at wilmaninfraprojects.com. That’s the short version.

The longer version: we’re 100 people. Engineers, architects, site supervisors, procurement staff, a small accounts team. Most of our senior engineers have been with us for 8+ years. That matters more than most people realise experienced site supervision is the single biggest factor in whether a building turns out well or badly.

We’ve built 12 projects across Lucknow. Houses, apartments, offices, warehouses, a few factories. Small projects, big projects. One-room extensions for joint families. Multi-crore commercial complexes. We’ve done all of it.

What we haven’t done: take advance and go quiet. Miss a structural milestone and hope nobody noticed. Use cheaper steel than what was quoted and keep the difference. These things happen in Lucknow’s market. They don’t happen with us and if they ever did, I’d want to know about it immediately.

The Work We Do — Broken Down Simply

Houses and Homes

Most of our clients come through referrals from people who’ve built homes with us. Someone in Gomti Nagar Extension tells their cousin in Indira Nagar, the cousin calls us, and that’s how it starts. No ad, no Google campaign. Just word of mouth.

We build individual houses from scratch — G+1, G+2, whatever the plot allows. We do duplex villas, bungalows, and small residential apartments too. The whole job – foundation, structure, plumbing, electrical, flooring, paint, handover. Or just parts of it if you have other contractors already in place.

One thing clients appreciate: we’re flexible about their architect. If you have your own architect, we work with them. No ego about it. The goal is your house coming out right, not us controlling every decision.

Vastu – yes, we handle it. Most Lucknow families want vastu-compliant construction, and our team is experienced enough to integrate it properly without it becoming a structural problem.

Commercial Construction

Office buildings, retail spaces, showrooms, hotels – we’ve built them across Lucknow. Commercial work is different from residential. The timelines are tighter because delay costs the client money directly. The specification requirements are stricter. And there are more stakeholders involved landlords, banks, future tenants, local authorities.

We’ve managed all of that. Our commercial project managers are specifically hired for this type of work. They know how to keep a site moving without cutting corners to make up for lost time which is what a lot of contractors do, and why commercial buildings in Lucknow sometimes have problems that only show up after the business has moved in.

Industrial Projects

This is specialised work. A factory isn’t just a big shed the floor has to handle specific loads, column spacing has to work with your machinery layout, ventilation, fire safety, effluent all of it has to be thought through from day one, not retrofitted later.

We’ve delivered projects in UPSIDA zones and along the Lucknow-Kanpur corridor. Our structural team works directly with your plant layout consultants. We’ve had situations where we’ve told clients their initial factory design wouldn’t work for the machinery they were planning to install catching that early saved them serious money and time.

Renovation Work

Renovation is actually harder than new construction in some ways. You’re dealing with an existing structure that may have hidden problems — poor original construction, water damage behind walls, electrical that was never properly laid. We assess carefully before we quote, and we tell you honestly if what you want to do isn’t structurally sensible.

Kitchen remodels, bathroom upgrades, adding a floor, converting a terrace, opening up an interior — we do all of it.

Why People Come Back to Us — and Why That’s the Only Metric That Matters

As a Construction Company in Lucknow , we have tracked our referrals carefully. In the last 3 years , 22 % of our new projects came from previous clients or direct recommendations. That number tells us more about how we’re doing than any review on any website.

Here’s what we hear consistently from clients about why they refer us:

“Aapke log site pe rehte hain”

Roughly translated: ‘your people are actually present on site.’ This comes up constantly. In Lucknow’s construction market, it’s apparently not a given that the contractor’s supervisor actually shows up daily. Ours do. Every day. With a site log. And a photo update for the client.

No surprise bills

Our quotes are detailed. Not a rate-per-sqft with a vague scope. Actual line items what grade of steel, which brand of cement, what tile specifications, what electrical load planning. If something changes mid-project because of an unforeseen situation, we discuss it with you before it happens. Not after.

They answer the phone

Sounds basic. Isn’t. We’ve had clients tell us they tried three contractors before us and all three became unreachable after the advance was paid. Our clients have a direct number for their site supervisor and their project manager. Both pick up.

Quality checks at every stage

We do QC at foundation, at column casting, at slab, at brickwork, at plastering, before flooring. Not a walkthrough — actual checks against specification. Our site supervisors are trained to flag issues before they get buried under the next layer of work.

What a Project With Us Actually Looks Like – From First Call to Handover

People always ask this. So I’ll walk through it honestly, including the parts that aren’t perfectly smooth.

It starts with a call or a message on the website. You tell us roughly what you want house, office, renovation, whatever. We fix a site visit within 7 days usually. Sometimes faster if it’s urgent, sometimes a bit longer if we’re busy.

The site visit is usually 2 hours. One of our senior engineers comes, not a sales person. He looks at the plot soil, access, orientation, neighbouring structures, setback requirements. He asks questions about your requirements, your rough budget, your timeline expectations. He takes notes. He doesn’t make promises on the spot.

Then we go away and put together a proper estimate. This takes 3 working days typically. When it comes back, it’s detailed not one number but a breakdown by work type, materials specified, labour included. If your budget is lower than the estimate, we have an honest conversation about what can be adjusted and what can’t be without compromising the structure.

Once you’re comfortable, we sign an agreement. It covers: scope of work, material specifications, payment schedule linked to construction milestones, timeline with buffer for monsoon, escalation clause if material prices spike significantly. Everything that should be in a construction agreement, is in ours.

Then construction starts. You get [weekly / twice-weekly] photo updates. We have a client portal / WhatsApp group where site photos go. If you’re not in Lucknow and can’t visit regularly, we arrange video walkthroughs at key milestones.

End of project joint walkthrough. We make a snag list together. Items on the snag list get addressed before we call it done. And for 6 months after handover, our team is reachable for any structural or quality concerns.

That’s the ideal version. Sometimes things come up a subcontractor delivers material late, a monsoon stretches the schedule, a client changes a specification mid-build. We communicate about all of it. We don’t go quiet and hope you don’t notice.

Where We Work in Lucknow

We’ve done projects across all major parts of the city. Some of the areas:

  • Gomti Nagar and Gomti Nagar Extension – probably our busiest area right now
  • Shaheed Path and Sultanpur Road – lots of new residential development
  • Aliganj, Indira Nagar,
  • Hazratganj, Civil Lines, and the older parts of the city
  • Chinhat, Faizabad Road, and the eastern belt
  • Mahanagar, Nirala Nagar, Rajajipuram
  • Vikas Nagar, Sitapur Road
  • Kanpur Road, Lucknow-Unnao highway corridor

We also work in Kanpur, Ayodhya, Barabanki, Raebareli, Sitapur, and Gorakhpur. If you’re outside Lucknow, call us — we’ll be honest about whether the project is feasible for us to take on.

Honest Advice: What to Actually Check When Hiring a Construction Company in Lucknow

Even if you don’t hire us and that’s genuinely fine, not everyone will be the right fit here’s what I’d tell a family member before they hired any construction company in Lucknow:

  • Don’t hire based on the lowest quote. In construction, cheap quotes almost always mean something is getting cut somewhere. Either material grade, or labour quality, or site supervision. You find out which one when it’s too late.
  • Ask to see a completed project, not renders or photos. Ask to visit a building they’ve actually finished. Talk to that client if possible.
  • Ask who will be on your site daily. Not the owner, not the sales person the actual site supervisor. Get his name and number upfront.
  • Read the agreement. If there isn’t a proper written agreement, walk away. ‘We’ll sort it out as we go’ is how disputes start.
  • Check material specifications. ‘Good quality’ is not a specification. Brand, grade, and size should be written down. TMT Fe500D, 43-grade OPC cement, specific tile brand that’s a specification.
  • Understand what ‘turnkey’ means in their quote. Some contractors use it to mean full completion. Others mean structure only. Ask exactly what’s included.
  • Payment schedule matters. Legitimate contractors take phased payments tied to construction milestones not 40–50% upfront for a project that hasn’t started.

If a contractor can’t clearly answer these questions, or gives you vague answers, or gets defensive when you ask – that’s your answer.

FAQ – Questions We Actually Get Asked – Construction Company in Lucknow

Q1. Which is the best construction company in Lucknow?

That depends on your project. ‘Best’ is relative best for budget? Best for high-end finishes? Best for industrial work? We’d say we’re among the most reliable construction companies in Lucknow for residential and commercial projects based on our referral rate and project completion record. You can check our work at wilmaninfraprojects.com and decide for yourself.

Q2. How much does construction cost per square foot in Lucknow in 2026?

Roughly ₹1,400 to ₹2,200 per sq ft for standard residential construction, depending on specifications and locality. Add another ₹300–600/sqft if you want premium finishes, branded fittings, and higher-grade materials. These numbers move with material prices — the best way to get an accurate figure is a proper estimate after a site visit, not a number quoted over the phone.

Q3. Do you handle small projects – like adding one room or remodelling a bathroom?

Yes. We don’t have a minimum project size. A small addition for a family that needs more space is as important to us as a large commercial building. The team scales to the project.

Q4. How long does building a house in Lucknow take?

A standard G+1 or G+2 independent house typically takes 14–20 months from foundation to finishing. Smaller, simpler houses can be faster. We account for monsoon delays in every timeline — external work slows significantly during heavy rain, and that’s just reality in Lucknow.

Q5. Can you help with LDA approvals and building plan sanction?

Yes. Navigating LDA (Lucknow Development Authority) approvals is part of what we help clients with. We work with local consultants who handle building plan submission, sanction process, and compliance documentation. It’s not the most fun part of construction, but it’s important to do it properly.

Q6. Do you give a warranty on your construction work?

We provide a structural warranty on our work. For 12 months after handover, any structural or workmanship defects are our responsibility to fix at no additional cost. We’ll be clear about what’s covered in the agreement.

Q7. Can I visit one of your completed projects before deciding?

We try to arrange this where clients permit. Most of our clients are happy to have a brief visit from prospective clients — they know how much it matters when you’re making this kind of decision. Reach out to us and we’ll see what we can arrange.

Q8. How do I get a quote from Wilman Infra Projects?

Call us, message us, or fill in the form on wilmaninfraprojects.com. We’ll arrange a site visit, do a proper assessment, and give you a detailed estimate. No charge, no obligation at that stage.

One Last Thing

Construction is one of the biggest financial decisions most families make. It’s also one of the most stressful if it goes wrong. And unfortunately, in Lucknow’s market, it goes wrong more often than it should.

We started Wilman Infra Projects {Best Construction Company in Lucknow} because Baldev Singh wanted to build a company he’d be comfortable recommending to his own family. That’s still the standard we hold ourselves to.

If that sounds like the kind of company you want to work with we’d be glad to hear from you.
